Potain Gives Clanwilliam Dam a Lift

Potain tower cranes have been supplied to the Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) to raise the clanwilliam dam wall. SA French, a division of Torre Industrial Holdings, will supply a Potain MD 485 tower crane and a Potain MC310 crane to the project.

The 25-ton Potain MD 485 tower crane will pour the bulk of the concrete work at the Clanwiiliam Dam, supplemented by the Potain MC 310 for smaller lifts. At the time of writing, the MD 485 tower crane was being transported to the dam on the Olifants River in the Western Cape.

The MD 485 tower crane Is adaptable to a variety of job sites due to Its modular design and efficient load handling capabilities.
